As we all know, the holidays can be a difficult time for seniors, especially those who don’t have family or friends in the area to celebrate with. When you’re alone, it can be hard to see people enjoying gifts, special treats, and time with family around the holidays. To help combat loneliness around the holidays, East Side Elders geared up in Santa hats and reindeer headbands and braved the cold to deliver gifts to seniors on the East Side! Thanks to Gifts for Seniors for providing many of the gifts that we were able to hand out last week! Gifts included blankets, personal care items, a slow cooker, and more.
