Volunteer Drivers Needed
With the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, East Side Elders had put a hold on new applications for several of our volunteer positions. But with regular doctor’s appointments opening up for seniors, we are seeing an increase in the number of ride requests from clients. Because of this increase, we are opening up applications for volunteer drivers! Right now, we are mainly looking for drivers with daytime, weekday availability to help seniors get to medical appointments or other important errands. By giving your time, you can help keep older adults healthier and safer – you can make a huge difference!
How to Get Started
The first step to volunteering with East Side Elders is to fill out an online application. If you need help or are unable to fill out our application, you can contact us at Volunteer@EastSideElders.org or 763-325-3473. After we receive your application, we will contact you to set up an interview on Zoom or other video call program. Please note that volunteer drivers will also need to submit proof of driver’s license and insurance. All volunteer drivers will also need to submit to a background check.
