Help with Snow Shoveling

Need help keeping your sidewalk clear this winter?  This season, East Side Elders is working with a new program from the City of Saint Paul that will be providing free show shoveling to seniors 60+ in our service area.  Shoveling will be completed by volunteers of City of Saint Paul.  The goal will be to have sidewalks shoveled within 24 hours of a snowfall.  Shoveling will include the sidewalk and a path to the front door.  Driveways are not included.  To sign up, call East Side Elders at 651-683-2326 or 763-325-3473.

Free Coloring Books

Coloring can be a fantastic way to relax – and we have a large selection of free, printable coloring books for you to enjoy!  We put a call for volunteers to create art that we could complile into coloring books and we were so thankful for the tremendous response!  New volumes are added to our website regularly.

No printer?  Contact us at or 651-683-2326 and we can mail you a printed copy if you are 60+ and in our service area.

Bye For Now

Thank you so much for visiting the Virtual East Side Cafe!  We hope you had fun and we hope that you will join us next month for our next installment on December 10th.
