About the Presenter

This online presentation will be hosted by Angela Smithson and was organized by St. Anthony Park Area Seniors.

More about Angela:

Angela Smithson, MD, MPH, is the director of the University of Minnesota St. John’s Hospital Family Medicine Residency.  Previously, she taught and practiced at the University of Minnesota North Memorial Family Medicine Residency and obtained her MPH from UMN School of Public Health in Community Health Education as a FM faculty fellow. She practiced full scope family medicine for 11 years and served as a medical director of Family Health Services Minnesota, P.A. In 2010, she joined St. John’s faculty and became its program director in 2015. Her work passions include improving team-based clinical care, chronic disease management, and promoting the importance of full spectrum family medicine physicians to trainees and communities.
