Giving Tuesday is a global day of generosity that will take place on December 1, 2020. It was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past nine years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
This year, you can support East Side Elders on Giving Tuesday by making a donation online. And every donor who gives $10 or more on December 1st will receive a copy of our book, Walk on the East Side! This book makes a wonderful gift and highlights some of the best that the East Side has to offer. This book features photos taken by local artist, Hans Mouritzen. It also features stories recorded by Carol MacAllister.
